Venus: Metal Star
Mars: Fire Star
Jupiter: Wood Star
Saturn: Earth Star

The Chinese elements/phases are also more metaphorical than literal so Wood represents plants in general / springtime / lively forces

This is why Sailor Jupiter is coded green and uses lightning attacks

Sailor Venus is more inspired by the Western take on Venus though lol. Like even her name breaks the pattern and uses "Love" instead of "Metal"

But the character for Metal in this system is literally Gold, so that might be why she's blonde
