I'm proud to fight for inclusive language. It means more people are safe and seen. It matters.

I've never got so much abuse as I have for supporting @SandsUK's use of inclusive language.

Subtweeted by colleagues, celebrities and politicians. Misgendered, called a narcissist, misogynist, deluded, self-hating and a bad parent. And that's just the stuff Twitter doesn't hide

Being insulted and falsely accused of horrible stuff hurts. No joke. But it doesn't work.

Trans people and our legion allies know that we deserve equally (no more, no less). We know it like we know the sun will rise tomorrow.

There's nothing anyone can do to change that.
