What are Music Shows?

Music shows are live broadcasts where kpop artists perform every week and compete for 1st place on each show. There are 6 music shows and each one has different winning criteria based mainly on album sales, streaming, voting and music video views.

MUSIC SHOW SCHEDULE:

In the 1st week of promoting on music shows GOT7 will not be nominated because that is when data is collected for the following week’s nominations. The 2nd week is when GOT7 will be eligible to be nominated and win on each music show they attend.

SHOW CHAMPION:

GOT7 does not attend Show Champion because it is not a public TV broadcast. Artists do not need to attend Show Champion to be nominated.

MCOUNTDOWN:

Mcountdown is now allowing songs to nominated for an extra week after promotion ends so let’s keep our streams and votes up in the 2nd week as well. Don’t forget to stream GOT7’s MCD comeback stage!

MUSIC BANK:

Music Bank has no voting. Please stream on Korean streaming apps and buy GOT7’s album from Hanteo certified stores to help them win first place on Music Bank.

MUSIC CORE:

Music Core wins depend on a songs digital score on Gaon. NBTM debuted at #64 on the Gaon Digital chart. Let’s aim for a Top 20-30 debut to secure a Music Core win!

INKIGAYO:

Inkigayo voting is only available in Korea. Please focus on increasing charting positions on Genie, Melon and FLO. YouTube MV views count for 30% so please stream so GOT7 can get the max score.
