If you see someone online today (rightfully) worried about abortion rights & SCOTUS and wanting a way to help, you can tell them about the people & groups already out there doing the hard work to facilitate abortion access, oppose unjust laws, and build movements. Here are some:
2) @AbortionCare Network, which represents & supports the independent abortion clinics that provide 2/3 of abortion care in the U.S., but of whom a third have been forced to close in the past six years. https://keepourclinics.org
4) **State**-level repro rights lobbying & political orgs (501c4s, that can endorse in elections) in a state you care about. @naraltx, @ProChoiceOH, @NARALMissouri, @NARALVirginia, @ProChoiceMD, @CobaltAdvocates are close to my heart (& @NIRHAction, which supports many states!)
I could go on and on, but the point being: if you see somebody saying "Now we need to get organized to do [XYZ] for abortion rights!" and trying to start something new from scratch, remind them that there are plenty of experienced folks already out there who need their help
Okay, and I will go on a little bit more to mention two groups I personally support that are doing important abortion rights & access work and don't get enough recognition: Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice ( @RCRChoice) and Reproductive Health Access Project ( @RHAP1).
Here's how to support people who need help accessing abortion in states with trigger bans or that are otherwise likely to restrict abortion access and challenge Roe: https://twitter.com/helmsinki/status/1320875982241357826?s=19
