One of the most backwards things we do in this industry is try to plan rollouts & determine release dates before the music is even done lol. It makes no damn sense.
The other problem is that you want people to come up with the creative, innovative marketing ideas without hearing the music...because it hasn’t even been recorded yet.

How can people productively brainstorm & ideate around music they haven’t heard?

Cool story, bro. Give people something to work with with a lead time greater than one week prior to release and maybe you’ll get better ideas.
