White people who ain't never give a shit about education inequalities before are suddenly pulling "the achievement gap" out of their asses because they want THEIR kids to resume in person schooling. Trust, they don't care about the education OR health of Black & Brown students.

If they cared about the education of Black & Brown students, they'd restructure the entire curriculum, they'd advocate for Black & Brown students to stop being over diagnosed and hyper policed in schools, they'd advocate for better tech if families needed it.

What they actually care about is getting their own white children out of the house because they're tired of their kids, and they're using the false face of being concerned for children that aren't theirs.

Black & Brown families are still disproportionately impacted by COVID, for the children that ARE getting sick from COVID, MAJORITY of them are Black & Brown. Then there are families who could become severely impacted if a parent or grandparent or caregiver dies or gets sick.

Middle class white people should not get to make decisions that would impact the health and welfare of Black and Brown students and their families, because they chose to endanger them every time.
