This is a light-hearted look at a serious subject, #bird #flew (flu). In fact, it’s a bird's-eye view of a #penguimic as told by #Cliff #Hanger; he lives life on the edge.

The symptoms are simple, loss of flight, and sadly some birds never recover. Two species heavily affected were the Ostrich and emu.

All birds are on full #flockdown. Well, almost all birds. They allowed some birds to travel, single flights only due to social distancing.

#Flightless #Swift grounded along with his friend #Hardto #Swallow; both were forever on the wing.

#Flightless #Swift felt it more, he led the #Aerobatic #Swifts. The air show now taken off air. The #Red #Sparrows also felt the effect of the #penguimic because of the cancellation.

They cancel most flights, which pleased the ostriches and emus among others. They felt normal for once.

Only a few #Nestcafes remain open, not the coffee brand! So, at least some socialising.

The birds were flocking to the #Nests of #Pollyment, looking for the #pollyticians to take control. Outside the new build was #Pollytickle #TV. The #Pollytician #Party was a party of parrots and they just kept repeating themselves.

The #Prime #Minister, #Polly #Ester, the first female #Prime #Minister, was a colourful character. Could she manufacture a united #pollyment?
