I need to strengthen my back to get past my long term injuries and so I am doing a pullup challenge for the next 30 days. This thread shall be my accountability and I need to update it every day with my results.
Day one: Using a resistance band for assistance I did 3 sets of 5 pullups so 15 total.

Remember I am injured so don't judge the low reps.
Target is to lose the resistance band and to increase reps, strength and reduce injury pain and chances of future injury.

Feeling good.
Day two: Using resistance band for assistance did 3 sets of 6 pullups totalling 18 pullups.

Feeling good, doing hamstring stretches as well, back pain minimal right now. Not taking any painkillers or anti inflammatory meds.
Day three: 3 sets of 6 again but with the ache from yesterdays sets I fatigued in the 3rd set so took a few seconds break then finished.

Tomorrow will go back to three sets of 5 until Sunday.
It's about good form and clean reps so not gonna push the boundary yet.
Day four: 3 sets of 5 pullups.

Again started to fatigue on the third set but completed the workout all the same. Perhaps need slightly longer rest periods in between but all in all smashing it thus far.
Day five: 2 sets pull ups and 1 set chin ups 5 reps per set.

Also added in a couple of minutes of jump rope which I'm going to continue to incorporate as my main source of cardio for a while.

Feels good man!
