A monster came into our home and attacked all the people that live with us! It was horrible. The screams! The cries! The chasing and killing. It was a war zone. We were terrified. We ran to our safe house as fast as we could.
When the screams ended and the weapons were stored away Our Person came looking for us. She knew we were scared. But she told us not to worry. She said they found it and killed it. She called it a scorpion.
And even worse than it’s hollow eyes and sharp pinchers....Our Person said that some turtles eat scorpions. We're pretty sure she is wrong about that.
But now we are worried. Did that scorpion have a family? Is there a gang of scorpions plotting revenge? What happens if they come looking for him? What do we do to protect ourselves?
We made a plan. Next time a monster scorpion invades our space we are moving. We were born in Connecticut. We can always go back.
