Since Omar-S recently uploaded a good chunk of the older FXHE stuff to Bandcamp, I thought it would be nice to do a thread of some of my favs from one of the best to ever do it. Kicking off with this one and its amazing drum programming: https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/track/always-there
This tune is one that me and @BAKEGLA have bonded over time and time again over the years. What I love about this one is that after 6-odd minutes of hand drumming it breaks down into a super sparse, tracky Chicago/NY style tool. A gift for the DJs: https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/track/da-teys
This one kind of picks up where the previous tune left off. One of those great pieces of music that exist in that golden zone between house and techno without out ever really sounding like either: https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/track/oasis-nineteen
I always felt like this one was a little underrated. The main theme/bassline is one of my all time favourites and the lush arpeggiator forest that grows out the last couple of minutes is gorgeous: https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/track/plesetsk-cosmodrome
Feel like these two deserve to go together - both ultra stripped back with Motor City Jack Pot almost on a Population One kind of tip. Both great DJ tools.

Not much to say about this one except that it's a stone cold classic: https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/track/track-8-2
To my ears this one is like a darker, meaner cousin to Track#8 - not sure its strictly correct to call it UK sounding but I feel it shares certain qualities with some of the UK music that was being made around that time (mid-2000s): https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/track/churchill
Three absolutely amazing tunes on this record (Missing U, Set It Off and U) and the polar opposite to a tune like Churchill. The range that he displays in his music never ceases to amaze me: https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/album/aos-002
Love the sonar blips that anchor this one. It's a sick tune (another one with wicked drum programming) but tbh mainly sharing because "Income Tax Refund Dance" is a jokes title: https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/track/income-tax
One of his most moesh tunes - just on the right side of weepy: https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/track/just-ask-the-lonely
Finishing this with another classic - this has a really good bit in it that sounds like an arcade machine going into meltdown. This thread is scratching the surface of his back catalogue - there is so much brilliant music in there. Bless you AOS! https://omar-s.bandcamp.com/track/striders-world
p.s. as a bonus I have to share this one, though its not on Bandcamp, because it is imo one of the best drum tracks ever made:
