HOW TO DEAL WITH REJECTION

As a researcher you need to learn to deal with rejection. It is very painful after a hard work to receive a rejection letter from the journal of your choice.
I know how it feels but after years of experience rejection does not mean your paper is not good. It is also not wise to fire off an angry e-mail to the editor explaining why the journal's process was unfair and biased.
About 5 of my papers were rejected and I have learnt that the best and most time-efficient course is to reassess quickly your choice of journal, fix any weaknesses that may have been pointed out by reviewers, reformat the paper for your second-choice journal, and send it off.
I did manage to successfully resubmit 3 of the journal papers to higher journals than the 1st choice.
There is no bad results in research even negative results are publishable. Do not change results. Publish as it is.
Please do not get discourage by some of the comments from reviews. It does happen to every Scientist. To all emerging scientists and early career researchers a submission that ends in rejection remember it is an opportunity to improve your writing and editing skills.
It is now late here and I will leave you with this thread. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I will try to respond tmrw morning. Thank you all.
