I've had a week off work - here are some observations

THREAD
1) I definitely do not want to flip a company and then retire - work definitely provides a sense of meaning/ something to do.

Sitting around, not working? It gets old really fast

(Although this is a Covid holiday so I didn't travel)
2) I missed a few emails and DMs but nothing drastic - you can take a week off easily if you have a content business.

I'm good at quitting things and didn't find the urge to log into twitter or check email.

I set up company tweets with buffer.
3) I've realised once again Twitter is by far my favourite social network (well, other than Strava)

Twitter provides intellectual stimulation lacking on other platforms.
4) I'm glad I took some time off but I do get a lot of my identity from my work.

I'll take time off at Christmas and New Year but I think in a year I would take about 3 weeks off.

I guess if travel was safe/open I might feel differently.

Being at home isn't really a holiday
5) Twitter lost the rest of this thread but basically, it's nice to be back!
