I& #39;ve had a week off work - here are some observations

THREAD
1) I definitely do not want to flip a company and then retire - work definitely provides a sense of meaning/ something to do.

Sitting around, not working? It gets old really fast

(Although this is a Covid holiday so I didn& #39;t travel)
2) I missed a few emails and DMs but nothing drastic - you can take a week off easily if you have a content business.

I& #39;m good at quitting things and didn& #39;t find the urge to log into twitter or check email.

I set up company tweets with buffer.
3) I& #39;ve realised once again Twitter is by far my favourite social network (well, other than Strava)

Twitter provides intellectual stimulation lacking on other platforms.
4) I& #39;m glad I took some time off but I do get a lot of my identity from my work.

I& #39;ll take time off at Christmas and New Year but I think in a year I would take about 3 weeks off.

I guess if travel was safe/open I might feel differently.

Being at home isn& #39;t really a holiday
5) Twitter lost the rest of this thread but basically, it& #39;s nice to be back!
