My Theory on Enhypen's Storyline — a (really long) thread.
👻 | before i go further into this, i just want to point out that english isnt my first language so im sorry for any grammatical errors in the future of this thread!
👻 | I'll also be focusing more on the storyline rather than the characters in it so i apologize in advance for not talking about all of the members in depth 🙇‍♀️
👻 | Here's a rundown of the main topics that I'll be talking about today:
okay so based on the Mirror Image Theory (lets call it MIT), Big Bang has generated an antimatter universe which is believed to be a reflection of our own universe.
mirrors are supposed to reflect everything identically but its reversed horizontally so that would make the other side flipped, meaning that everything is identical but altered. the other side is a reflection of the universe that we have right now & anything is possible in there
which is what brings us to heeseung on the first scene of the second trailer; he was curling up in a ball as he layed on a mirror and notice how he lifted his head up; it looked like he just woke up and that he just regained his consciousness.
so as we know, based on the MIT, Mirrors are like gateways into a twisted reflection of our universe and heeseung just so happens to regain consciousness on top a mirror in the middle of the woods.
let's take a look on what the forest symbolizes
the image above mentioned a young man in an unexplored realm full of the unknown and it stands for the unconscious and it's mysteries. so who exactly is this young man? it's lee heeseung. and why is this place 'thriving'? its because it's wear most mysteries lurk.
and what are those mysteries? well...
to put it simply, heeseung got transported to the opposite universe. what weirded me out was the fact that heeseung didnt bother to stand up right away from his position when he regained consciousness, he just looked at himself from the mirror blankly; its like he was in a trance
i searched any possible meaning for this, and it appears as though it seemed like heeseung was going through something that has not yet been disclosed by the given trailers. here's what i found though
a low illumination level is just basically the amount of light measured on a plain surface; we only saw a glimpse of heeseung staring blankly at himself on the mirror and then suddenly, there was a transition that involved a bright illumination of light as it switched to sunghoon
note that in the previous image, it was said that 'observers' often hallucinate of monsters, the faces of relatives, and the deceased. i have a hunch that heeseung knew the other members in the 'original universe' but i cant clarify if he knew all of them.
keep in mind that this is very different from time travelling as it doesnt involve them going back and forth to past and present and travelling to another universe is a whole different story because you didn't leap back in time, you didnt leap forward either +
you're still in the present and everything is identical but not the same.

(mind you that pararell universes will always have a version/copy of you)
remember in the first trailer, each member had their individual shots and heeseung didnt have one? you know why? its because he's not part of their universe. (pctto)
'original' heeseung wasn't even supposed to be there; traveling in a multiverse is not adviceable because you already have a version of you existing in the said universe. if you were to travel there, what do you think would happen to the other you?
which brings me to 2 possible theories within this theory.

theory 1: the 'heeseung' that existed in the 'supernatural' universe (lets call him pararell heeseung) disappeared COMPLETELY the moment that 'original heeseung' showed up.
theory 2: the moment that original heeseung showed up in the universe that he was not supposed to be in, pararell heeseung may have disappeared physically, but he now RESIDES within original heeseung's consciousness.
If theory number 1 happened, then heeseung would've had to lie about his identity and knowledge in order to not be suspected by the others
but please keep in mind that heeseung wouldn't have been able to survive in that universe if he didn't have any prior knowledge about it. this was a universe of the unknown; and this marks as the beggining of his journey into walking on an endless line
if theory1 really happened, then heeseung should've at least gotten surprised or even panicked when he got there; he shouldve at least looked around to see what was going but judging on how calm he acted, he looked like he was embracing this new reality in acceptance
which brings us to theory 2. you know how i said that pararell heeseung may have disappeared physically but he resides within original heeseung's consciousness? i feel like heeseung was calm because he was embracing parallel heeseung alongside with the new reality he had now
we're all aware that heeseung was alone and no one else was in sight within his 'spawn' area, so from where else would he gain any information about where he is and what's going on right now? how was he able to make the others think that he was part of their universe?
you wanna know why and how? it's because pararell heeseung was guiding original heeseung the moment original heeseung arrived in their altered universe. pararell heeseung was the one that was relaying information to original heeseung the entire time
remember how i said that mirrors are gateways into an identical and yet twisted universe? heeseung was actually faced to face with his 'alter-ego' (pararell h.s) the whole time he was layed on the mirror. it put him in a trance and he had to either snap out of it or succumb to it
heeseung had to CHOOSE. he could've just ignored the CALLING of his pararell self but he CHOSE not to ignore it and thus he succumbed to it. this leads us to heeseung finally standing up and if you look at the mirror, his reflection is gone. why? because he accepted parrarel h.s.
heeseung embraced his pararell version in order to survive. since he's in an alternate universe wherein anything is possible, pararell heeseung (immortal) must've been a vampire that reached out to original (mortal) heeseung for help.
heeseung wouldn't have just 'magically' appeared there if he didnt have a purpose. his pararell self called him for a reason and i think its because everything is going out of control in their universe and pararell h.s needed assistance.
( ⤴️ keep that in mind for later)
summoning original heeseung in the multiverse was actually a really big risk to take because if original heeseung chose to ignore pararell heeseung's calling, then pararell h.s would've ceased to exist and original heeseung wouldve been stuck wandering alone in ignorance
basically, if original heeseung didn't embrace his pararell self, then hw would've still had his reflection on the mirror when he stood up but since his reflection was gone, this indicates that original heeseung responded to his pararell's calling
their song "Calling" from the final episode of I-Land was actually featured in their first trailer and i can see why they added it to this concept
+ | here are the lyrics that support my theory of heeseung being called out into this world.
"to a new world we've been waiting for"

now this indicates that they've been searching for change. this is why they were desperate in their desire to transform to the point that they weren't aware of the consequences that would come if they got too ahead of themselves
in teaser 1, all of them were looking directly at the camera towards the end and heeseung was the only one who was looking in a different direction before actually shifting his gaze towards the camera
+ and it looks like an indication that heeseung was being dishonest with his identity. you know how when people tend to look away whenever they lie? im applying that to heeseung right now and the way he looked at the camera was as if he was saying "im not supposed to be here"
now moving on to my next key point: the blood moon.

so many prophets prophesized that the appearance of blood moons signify extraordinary and great events to come. in enhypen's case, the events can be interpreted in 2 ways.

1: their debut

2: their storyline
1: their debut

this itself is a big deal because we have been longing to see them debut in all their glory, we've been longing for the world to see how incredible these boys are and as of this day, we are itching to know when the debut date will be released.
2: their storyline

based on the previous trailers, we've witnessed that this will surely be a long and yet worthwile ride as there are many events to be unfolded and there are many truths that are yet to be revealed as we search for answers.
there's actually so many bible experts who firmly believed that blood moon appearances were the fullfilment of the prophecy in the Book of Joel 2:29-31

"the Sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon in blood, before the great and terrible day Jehovah comes."
So who is Jehovah? Jehovah is actually Jesus; Jehova's witnesses believe that this is the true name of God and any passages that apply the term Jehovah to Christ would conclusively destroy their entire theology.
correct me if im wrong, but it was said to be a great and terrible day because the people get to be blessed by Jehova's presence, but he who brought blessings have brought chaos and unleashed it into this world
the way i interpret this is as if there was a sacrifice that had to be made in order for enhypen to seek the 'change' that they've been wanting for in their world. they THOUGHT it would change things for the better, but making the sacrifice actually made things worse.
they were desperate. they didn't want to keep living that way. they wanted to be normal. they wanted to be free but they knew that no matter what choice they'd make, it'd still always feel like they were walking barefoot on glass.
they had to choose whether to just do nothing at all and stay that way forever, or they could've chosen to take a sacrifice in order to stop this never-ending insanity of immortality.
there's one thing i can confirm here. only jungwon was the human, and he was the sacrifice.
they had to decide wisely cause even if they were to make a sacrifice, if it ended up being a fail, then it would make things worse than it already is
which is now what brings me to jake's narrative point.

they thought they had it under control but that was until everything went downfall.

notice how the candle light vanishes? that's a symbol of their "hope" vanishing because things took a turn
the sacrifice wasnt completely a fail. but instead of obtaining eternal peace, they brought on another disaster.

this was what they've been talking about in the Book of Joel; they've awakened Jungwon and thus, the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood.
which now leads us to the book of Revalation 6:12. refer to the image attached.

jake, who was just doing his job into supposedly taking the life of a sacrifice, unknowingly awakened the opener of the 6th seal.
there are 6 seals in the book of revelation and an additional seal which is the 7th seal, but for the sake of this theory, i will only be focusing on the 6th seal.

(i actually have another theory abt the seals but im not sure if yall are up to it so just lmk if ur interested!)
the sixth seal was said to be about cosmic disturbances that caused a lot of disasters and chaos.

opening the sixth seal is a very big deal as it is also even close to being partained to as the end of the world
the prophet, john, described the human reaction to these disturbances and have said that people hid in caves and tried to declude themselvs from God and Christ.

now where else did we see a cave?

in the first teaser; it had the words "Mortal - Immortal" labeled on the screen.
so as you may know by now, they're immortals; meaning that they're individuals that cannot experience death — only pain.

the people were afraid of the Lord, they believed that the Lord was a vengeful being and that he brought treacherous consequences to those who opposed of him
which is why they chose to hide whenever the Lord is present. the people were guilty of their sins and they were too scared to face their consequenses.
think of it this way

the 6 of them, excluding jungwon, may have done questionable sins in their past lives and that the Lord has punished them by granting them immortality in which makes others look up to them in veneration
you know how they think that eternal life is a blessing? that's not how jake and the others see it. this was a curse and a punishment that was bestowed upon them.

it's a never-ending cycle of torture. even if they wanted to disappear, they couldnt. they can't.
the reason why they're so envious of the mortals is because mortals eventually have their life span cut.

as for immortals? their life spans are eternal.
tw// mentions of su!cide

living forever only sounds good at first but imagine having hatred and anger towards youself but you can't even end your own life? imagine not having the will to live but you still keep on living just because you don't have a choice?
this was why they had to make a sacrifice. they wanted to end this cycle. they wanted to find eternal peace.

when they were given the opportunity to achieve freedom by getting a sacrifice, they took on it, they were DESPERATE for it. but this was all a trap.

it was all set up
just as how we're afraid of the unknown such as vampires and unlikely mythical beings, the likes of them are actually afraid of something too; and that is God and his Lamb.
so what exactly does the lamb represent?
what does Yang Jungwon mean? sheep garden. (lambs are young sheeps by the way)

the way that jungwon acted throughout the entire trailer was as if he was 'new' to this world as well. he looked vulnerable and meek, not to mention that he was chosen as a sacrifice.
throughout the trailers, jungwon has shown us:

✅ gentleness, innocence, and purity
✅ sweetness, forgiveness, and meekliness

just like the lamb in the bible.

Yang Jungwon is the Lamb of God; the harbringer of forgiveness and suffering.
if you focused on jungwon's scenes, you'll notice that he was running away right? but if you look closely, he was anticipating this.

he knew jake was following him and jungwon lured him farther in the forest until he felt that they were far enough before stopping on purpose.
jungwon didn't even flinch when jake appeared, he only had this blank look on his face. it's as if he didn't have a choice in this either and that he just had to do this for the sake of it
i also just wanna point out that the climax of this trailer happened when jake bit jungwon.

jungwon, who was surrounded by light, was now surrounded in darkness as lights flashed onto him

notice how everyone went to their tipping point after jungwon was bitten too
remember the Book of Joel 2:29-31 where it was stated that "the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood" ?

jungwon was always surrounded by light but once he got bitten, he was finally in the center of enhypen as lights violently flashed on his face
the jungwon who was always in the light has now been placed in the dark. the way the lights were frantically flashing on his face can either be interpreted as an awkening of some sort, or even the beggining of the end, or maybe hes just two-faced.
"They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." "These are they in which follow the lamb."
the way i see this is that they're stuck with jungwon.

they have no other choice than to follow him because since he is the lamb of God, his words will always be absolute and thats not all, they fear him.
so as we know, the lamb of God takes away the sins of the world.

and who could've possibly sinned in their world? who was granted immortality as a punishment?

enhypen.
jungwon was sent on a mission to be a sacrificial lamb to lead the guilty sinners and to redeem them from their sins.

but before he could even do that, he had to reveal all their true colors. he had to make everyone come out and show their true selves.
i assume that this was why the blood moon appeared; uptil this point, they have been holding themselves back as they didn't like themselves for who they are and for what they've become

but jungwon appeared and signalled them that its okay, that they can come out from hiding
now you might be wondering: what does heeseung have to do with this? why did you even mention him in the first place?

for starters, this was the disaster that i was talking about earlier. this is the help that pararell h.s was asking for.
they've awakened a high form of entity that is related to a higher entity. although his words are absolute, how are they so sure that they can even trust him?

Yang = opposite of Yin, the goodness and purity of the things in life

but keep note that there's evil in goodness.
i made a lil smth to help you visualize things better

(btw im not saying that jungwon is really evil though)
so what exactly are jungwon's intentions? why has he decided to help them now after such a long time? is he really being sincere or is he making a fool of ourselves again?

he's already decieved us once, and he can do it twice.
think of it this way:

if they really stopped themselves from holding back, then all hell would break loose because they immortals are capable of many things
so maybe this was heeseung's purpose? to seek for truth? to know if he could even trust jungwon? because as of right now, he can't trust anyone but himself, which is why he called for his other self.
you guys saw the thumbnail on this thread right? im bringing it back here because i wanna clarify some things

maybe the reason why jungwon and heeseung wore different clothing was because they knew something that the others didnt
if you look at the immortals' clothing, it was all similar as it had ruffles and puffies.

heeseung and jungwon didnt have any ruffles on their clothing, but heeseung's sleeve was puffy like the immortals.
the way i see this is because part of him is an immortal as well (because of his pararell self residing in his conscience) and maybe because he sinned.

jungwon, on the other hand, is pure. he had no sins.

theres a song about the lamb of God, heres the lyrics:
"Your only son, no sin to hide. But you have sent him from your side to walk upon the guilty sod and to become the lamb of God"

someone of high entity sent Jungwon, who was pure and innocent, to walk on a path of guilty sinners. he acted as a sacrifice that would lure jake in.
"why would he lure jake in?"

well..

"But you have brought me to your side, to be led by our staff and rod, and to be called a lamb of God"

the immortals have been searching for change, so change came right knocking on their doorstep but not in a way that they expected
