Back in June 2020, I took a call to not replace my aging MacBook Pro with the new 16& #39;. Instead, I built my own PC.
It cost 1/3 of the MacBook I was considering, and feels significantly faster.
It& #39;s a shame that laptop manufacturers prioritize thinness over performance.

But even more importantly, the repair-ability and replace-ability of laptops have gone out the window. Need to change your battery? That& #39;ll be 50-60% of what you paid originally.
