For all those who have been seeing the hashtag trend #EndAnglophoneCrisis but really don't know our plight, here's a picture story thread of how we got here

In October of 2016, common law lawyers joined by teachers and the public took to the streets of Cameroon's two English speaking regions of Buea and Bamenda to protest what they termed "Anglophone Marginalization"This resulted in tension and the Military was sent to restore order.
a popular teacher and journalist in Bamenda at the City Chemist Round About Mancho Bibixy planted himself in a white coffin to advocate for better governance in the two English speaking regions. This solitary act branded the crisis the name "the coffin revolution"
On the 22 of September English speaking Cameroonians took to the streets with "peace plants" a peaceful protest which later left a couple of people dead. This was the beginning of violence.
Rioters took to the streets of Commercial Avenue Bamenda breaking and destroying property in a bid to express their frustration at Government's response to their cries of equality. This led to more people being killed.
