I really wish that I was more articulate in my own language because it's just so beautiful!! Kakabasa ko lang kasi ng pinapabasa for fil and ewan,,,i relate to the fact na my way of thinking is stunted in filipino because i'm not as articulate in tagalog

So i make up for it by writing or expressing myself in english and i guess i justify it with the fact that i didn't grow up in the phililpines. But honestly, either way i feel that i would be just as conyo as i am now even if i studied here and i think this is the fault of how...

Glorified the english language here is. The way that colonization is so deep rooted into our culture that it has revamped our identity to the very core and it's just really sad thinking about it because our current system still perpetuates it...

Heck, i want to write and express myself in this thread using full tagalog but I can't because i'm going to code switch a lot and my thought process often gets lost...
