humans and angels aren't the same beings. So, it's almost a given that humans don't turn into angels when they die. Satan already knew that their love would inevitably end in sorrow. There was just no way to prevent it

So imagine the shock everyone felt when they came back. Simeon and Luke were definitely shocked. What was supposed to be impossible became impossible. They were happy, sure, but they both knew what would happen next.

After Michael barely introduced them to the realm, they jumped

The fall was painful. Their wings, previously a pristine white became devoid of color. The pain of the fall was so intense that it wasn't long before they fell unconscious.

And when they woke up, the pain was even worse. They felt the spot where their wings were previously in

throb with pain. It was almost unbearable.

And it would've been if the demon brothers hadn't come rushing towards them.

The five of them were in a panic. Mammon and Levi were asking questions they weren't able to comprehend, Asmo was in tears, and Beel and Belphie were frozen.

Lucifer and Satan, however, stood away from the group. Lucifer knew his brothers needed someone to cry to and he was ready to be that someone.

Then, there was Satan

If there was anyone who missed them the most. Anyone who hurt the most, it was him. Out of everyone, he was the one who grieved the most at the loss of his beloved.

And now that they're back, he didn't know what to do

Satan often dreamed about meeting them again and he had a whole list of things he wanted to say and do. Now that his dreams finally came true, his mind went blank.

He staggered towards them, still in disbelief. He pulled them close as he let his frantic hands explore their body.

They were warm, not deathly cold. Their heart was beating, not eerily still. Their eyes were lively, not lifeless. Finally, he can let himself believe it.

His love was back in his arms. They were back home.
