Serendipity is about Yoonmin- a thread
(Based on my assumptions)

1.Serendipity means finding something good without looking for it. This song portrays gender neutral feelings that transcends all barriers. It's about love that is a serendipitous destiny and can also be considered as a beautiful paradox.

2. The theme of the serendipity MV is based on the color yellow. And yellow represents the relationship that Yg and Jm

3.The MV shows the sun and the moon. Which represent Jimin and Yoongi respectively. The sun and moon are like two destined yet forbidden lovers that endlessly chase each other but can't be together. They meet only during an eclipse which is a rare astronomical event.

4.the last eclipse before the release of the serendipity MV was on 9 March, 2016 which is yoongi's birthday. This was his birthday live. And "you know, I know" Is a part of the serendipity lyrics.

5. There are sun and moon models in the room and the clock stuck at 9:20 no matter how much time passes. The windows of his room are closed. This shows that jimin feels trapped in this situation because he can't be with yoongi inspite of being in love with him.

6. The contrast between his imaginations and reality is shown in the MV. He pulls the blanket over himself and retreats into the world of his imagination where he is seen smiling and happy.

7. On the other hand, he is seen looking up at the window which is the only exit from the room but is far above his reach.

8. The yellow ball reminds him of reality again and he covers himself up with the yellow blanket again to go to the world of his own thoughts. Also it's actually him who pushes the ball symbolising that he finds himself responsible for the situation he's in.

9. But this time the blanket does not take him to his happy world. Instead it opens up into a dark night sky and the moon which reminds him that he'll never be able to reach it.

10.The objects like the blanket are colored in yellow. These objects represent Jm's idea of love and comfort. The weird part is that the cactus is also Yellow as well. But the cactus is dangerous because it pricks him when he finally succumbs to his temptation and touches it.

11. He does not seem troubled by the fact that it hurt him. But instead he shows his finger to the camera as a sign of acceptance of the scars and pain that his love brings him.

12. For yoongi's teaser photo in love yourself: her there's a sentence that says, " Don't come close to me, you'll be unhappy if you do"

Also in this picture, yoongi is seen hiding inside a big pipe sort of thing because he doesn't want to hurt jimin like the cactus despite loving him. So he distances himself to avoid hurting him.

13. "As much as my heart flutters, I'm worried. Just like you I'm scared." yet in the end he says , "Just let me love you"
It's not that it doesn't scare him, he is worried too but he wants to love yoongi anyway no matter what the consequences will be.

14. He is seen letting go of the balloon which symbolizes that he wants to be completely out of touch with reality.

15.He then sees himself falling backwards into the dark. He willingly accepts the consequences that his love brings him and chooses to be with his love(yg) anyway.

16. We can see an eclipse which means that they finally meet too just like the sun and the moon.

17. The MV ends with the room shaking and the world around jimin seems to be shattering but he smiles. This is because he's finally letting go of the reality that only makes him sad and will finally get to be with his lover, yg.

18. Yoongi is called blue mould by the members. And " Blue mold" Is a part of the lyrics .

19. The serendipity choreography has jm flaunting his NEVERMIND tattoo.
And jm got the tattoo for yg.
Yg's lyrics say "Nevermind, it's not easy but engrave it upon your chest" And jm got the tattoo on his chest. It also looks somewhat like yg's handwriting.

20.Jimin said that out of all the members he wants yoongi to record serendipity the most.
