You may have seen these hashtags and thought what are we voting for and is it even real?

Well here’s what you need to know ~
An important & researched thread:
Firstly I will state that this thread is SOLELY meant to clarify misinformation that is going around. Please read thoroughly.
These four hashtags are voting for the 4 categories BTS was nominated in for the EuroKpop Awards. The voting ends Nov. 19th at 6pm GMT. This event is ran by EuroKpop LTD.
Twitter: @EuroKpop
Website: http://eurokpop.com
An official company that is incorporated in the UK.
By all means this company is legitimate as stated. However, I will point out some concerns that many are bringing to light.
EuroKpop’s twitter (where the voting is taking place) was only created in May 2020 and only has 3.2k followers to date (keep in mind 11 days after starting voting with hashtags everywhere). Many have been quick to point out the seemly fan edited nomination posters.
While the company may be legitimate, almost anyone in fact can apply for incorporation. I did so myself at age 18 and completed all the paperwork to start my own business. A further look into their public records show they were not officially a company until a month ago.
Another concern is their reasoning and responses. Judges scores were the main criteria in nominations. “These judges are music industry professionals, 5 of which are not kpop fans.” Meaning the other 5 judges are in fact kpop fans and most likely already have biases. Please read.
Note: Nomination process had different score weighing in the categories as opposed to the potential winners because this stage includes voting. In fact sales, streams, and show wins only count 20% and is the least weighed category.
EuroKpop Intending to take legal action for deformation for someone over the internet that calls them fake?
Website is ran by a website builder (further shows amateurity).
Latest news aren’t so “new” and only includes 4 pieces.
Feel free to do further research. There are more things that further show the amateurish formation of the company. My best guess this is a UK Kpop fan that wanted to create their own awards and teamed up with other fans and possibly musician friends to create the panel.
Despite these things, the question isn’t to ask if this company is fake, but is it important? What validity does it even have? And how can we know the judges which can influence the winnings aren’t biased?? How much free promo will they get by having us vote for an entire month?
This thread isn’t a ploy to get you to stop voting. It’s just made to show you it may be the equivalent to any of us starting an “awards” voting ourself and to debunk the claim that the organization is fake.
By all means this is “the EuroKpop Awards” so feel free to join in the voting even if it it’ll take an entire month, and doesn’t guarantee a win. Maybe the trophy will be a beautiful one, if they can actually get it to be accepted by the company’s.
As for me... I have nothing against an individual doing this, but they are a company and I do hope it’s more professional and trustworthy behind the scenes than meets the eye. I’ll be voting, but I will make sure I prioritize the more important votings before this one.
Keep in mind these reasons may be exactly why many voting accounts are not promoting this event. Please vote but keep in mind the “judges”opinions could easily sway 1 month’s of voting and to not be so sure of the outcome. Hope this helps and let’s do our best.
They themselves have posted a screenshot proving they are only a month old.
Furthermore, they are “proceeding” with multiple “legal” actions against twitter users who called it fake.
Since @/EuroKpop has now moved further into threatening fans on Twitter with “suing” and ultimately just scaring them, I personally will not be supporting them for the free publicity to further their company.
I got blocked. Anyway https://twitter.com/todayisdawon/status/1322031473067585537
