Time to read the script for the 1995 unsold pilot movie Crowfoot, written by Donald Bellisario!
Also my old review of this is included on the Lost Media Wiki?? I love how it makes it sound like I've held hostage the last copy of this movie to exist lol

The guy who drove the boats for them in this movie (Captain Steve) saw my video and had lots of cool stories, he was awesome. He also sent some behind the scenes pics:
My old-ass video if you're curious:
For those who aren't familiar, this was an unsold pilot for a TV series about a half native american cop who falls in love with a ghost and helps solve her murder. Said ghost is kate hodge of she-wolf of london, cop is very not native american jim davidson of pacific blue fame
since the ending with the ghost seems pretty closed, my assumption is the series would've just been about native cop and his powers or something. because he has powers.
because this was created by donald bellisario, you can spot lots of his regulars. and this was directed by james whitmore jr. who has done a ton of directing for him, including several quantum leap episodes. My copy of the script is signed by james whitmore :)
I see "Watkins" at the top of the script, not sure if this copy was for cinematographer michael watkins? he won two emmys for his work on quantum leap
this script is a chonky boy
this thread will be largely interesting only to me, but I will note anything interesting in the script
firstly, the title page reads: Crowfoot "Over My Dead Body," so presumably that would be the name of the episode had it become a full series
this is also a shooting script, so this means it isn't an early version and is likely to follow what's on screen pretty closely. I'm hoping the script notes or anything deleted might help shed some light on some of the more vague story elements
