/ Look, if you're still planning to vote for Trump after everything that's happened over the last four years, I'd ask you to think about the person you love who is telling you not to. I know they're out there. Maybe you're mad at them or they're mad at you, or you're not talking
/ I'm going to hope that somewhere deep inside you know something's not right with him. Maybe it's his tweets or his racism or how he treats women, or how he's bungled Covid. Maybe it's that you can never remember living in a world so overshadowed by rage, division, and fear
/ Maybe most of your family or friends are for him but it just doesn't feel right to you. It could be the kids - babies! - in cages, it could be how you know he lies and you tell yourself that's okay if the ends justify the means but you know they don't.
/ Maybe you know he's not "godly" or you see how he constantly shames the military for doing their jobs. Whatever it is, there's a seed of doubt, and somewhere there's a part of you that he doesn't sit right with. It's your conscience.
/ I choose not to believe you're all bad people. Maybe some are but there are those who don't hate those with different skin colors or members of the LGBTQ+ community, who he's constantly targeting. Maybe you're just going along with everyone around you.
/ If this is you, don't vote for Trump. Stay home, write someone else in, whatever, but don't keep him in power. Here's the thing: all the bad things - Covid, civil unrest, the division among us, in your home - they will only get worse if he stays.
/ Maybe you voted for him before, maybe you don't want to admit you were wrong. But the thing about a bad decision is that it only gets worse the more you stick by it, the more you insist it is right. You can turn it around.
/ There may be a lot of bridges to rebuild and fences to mend but if he stays in office I guarantee it will never happen. Your loved ones who you argue with over him want you back. But you can't go back and have him too.
/ Liberals don't hate you. We hate Trump. We hate his cronies and his policies and his lies and his greed. He's not a man of the people. He doesn't care whether you live or die, let alone whether you lose those you care about.

He. Is. Not. Your. Friend.
/ I want you to remember what it was like when your kids and grandkids hadn't turned away from you because of Fox News. I want you to remember when people online didn't tell at you for being a jerk. You can have that back. You just have to care about them more than your pride.
/ No matter what the right tells you, people on the left aren't about hating others. We're about giving everyone a spot at the table. It's a nice table. You can talk with someone who sees the world in an entirely different way and leave the conversation feeling nice about it
/ Hate rots your soul. It's not the people in the city or the "globalists" or the PC police that are making your life suck. It's Trump. If you listen to others and treat them with kindness, there's a world of people waiting to take you back with open arms, Covid permitting
/ I don't know who you are. Maybe it's only one person that sees this and feels it. But whoever you are, stay home. Vote for someone else. Be on the right side of this. Let those who care help you through it. You just have to ask.
/ I'd ask people who are of the same political mindset as me to think about this too. Maybe we can reach someone and help them out. We're going to have to. There's a lot to be mad at but if we could all find someone and bring them back, what a world we'd live in.
/ I don't think the Democrats are perfect. I don't think one side is without flaws. But I do know Trump is clearly, unequivocally not the one to help us through this. Let him go. He's not there for you, don't sacrifice your conscience for him.
