Socialism is not anti-work. It is anti EXPLOITATIVE, UNFREE, and ALIENATING work.

It is impossible to live in a world where labor doesn't exist. The only way for us to "not work" and still have the world running is to exploit other's labour. That is capitalism.
"Labour is, in the first place, a process in which both man and Nature participate, and in which man of his own accord starts, regulates, and controls the material re-actions between himself and Nature..."

—Das Kapital Vol. I
"A spider conducts operations that resemble those of a weaver, and a bee puts to shame many an architect in the construction of her cells. But what distinguishes the worst architect from the best of bees is this, that the architect raises his structure in imagination..."
Marx believes the main thing that distinguishes humans from other creature is that they labor not for mere survivability, but to reach a higher purpose often unrelated to their survival.

Under capitalism, humans are denied of this species-essence.
It is unhelpful, and inaccurate, to construct a demand for socialism and communism with the basis of "abolishing work" for the simple reason it is scientifically impossible to run a society without labor.

The demand should always be based on Universal Freedom for all.
