Backstage Trivia:

We shot in Santa Rosa, CA. Everyone - cast & crew - lived in the same hotel. Sadly the Doubletree, Santa Rosa burned down in the 2017 fire, as did our nocturnal hangout, The Round Barn.
The Round Barn was not a restaurant/bar/club; it was exactly what it states - a barn that was round. I’m not sure who initially discovered it, but after Hotel Security grew exasperated with our loud nocturnal shenanigans, someone came up with the idea “let’s go to...
...that empty barn.”” So, we would lug the beer cooler and boom box for about a mile and party at the barn until the sun come up.
We were on night shoots, hence we slept during the day. Whatever cast who didn’t have to work, ended up hanging out together. @DavidArquette room was usually Party Central, at least until Security came knocking. David bought a go kart we raced down the halls.
The likely impetus for our Barn Hikes was one night some local folks who had been in the Randy’s Video Store scene showed up at our hotel with weed & beer. I have a foggy memory of being in the pool in my boxer shorts with a half dozen or so semi-dressed people at 3am
While the pool was “closed”, it was a full moon so we hopped the fence, dropped the clothes, and dived in. Other hotel guests were unable to appreciate our youthful enthusiasm... especially Arquette’s go kart in the hall
