Historical note related to my previous: Way back in the halcyon days of blogging, I set up https://centrist.blogspot.com/ . It purports to 'speak for the centrists.' I purposefully never posted anything after the (then-ubiquitous) fluff 'first post' as a sort of meta-joke. 1/

The alleged joke being, of course, that
"centrists" don't actually believe anything, they just float along with the prevailing current and congratulate themselves for their 'open-mindedness.' 2/

The problem with such a meta-joke is that, by its very nature, no one will ever notice it. Unless I point it out (like this thread is doing), no-pne who stumbles across it will realize it's intended as a joke.

In short, it's a crappy joke; but it still amuses me, at least. Fin/
