How to write a winning sales pitch in 6 easy ways.

A thread...
1. Problem: Start off your pitch with a question about the problem you solve.

A successful sales pitch begins a dialogue. Rather than starting with an opening line that’s all about you, try posing a question.
Instead of saying: Hi, my name is Khan, I am a CPA and I have spent years helping people save money on their taxes.

How else would your prospect reply than saying: "Oh, that’s interesting”?

Try this 👇
You know how Mr. Buffet wrote that letter to the NYT where he talks about how he pays a less and effective tax rate than any of his employees?

Well, that's what I do, My Name Is Khan, I am a CPA and I help my clients ensure they don't pay more than 20% as an effective tax rate.
2. Value Statement: Share a very clear, concise statement of value. Be action-oriented and outcome-focused.

Avoid using jargon. Share benefits.
3. How We Do It: Don't just tell people what you do, tell them HOW you will help them achieve that goal.
4. Proof Points: Your prospects hear a lot of claims from your competitors.

After a while, and especially if your prospect has made purchases that didn’t pay off, those claims start to sound dubious.
Here’s an example. Which is more compelling?

“Optimizing sales content for desktop is a clear and worthwhile priority for today’s sales leaders.”

Or

“Nearly 85% of visits to sales collateral are on desktop, not mobile.

When it comes to data, relevant specificity is king
5. Customer Stories: Share customer examples and successes.

Tell emotional and personalized customer stories.
6. Short and sweet does the trick.

The length of your pitch is important. If it’s too long, there’s a good chance your buyer will lose interest and fail to read on.

What could be worse than your pitch being ignored because it’s simply too long?
