I've decided to vote for Biden. It's not because I like him as a candidate or think he'll be a great president. I have no misconceptions about who he is & what he stands for. Rather, it's because @sunrisemvmt, @gretathunberg, @Jamie_Margolin, & @alexandriav2005 have asked me to.

They asked me because they believe it will give them a path (or at least breathing room) to succeed in their mission of protecting the environment on this planet that we all rely on to survive. My objective is to help them do so. I have been very clear about that.

Biden is a neo-liberal, corporate politician who robbed Bernie of the nomination for President. I'm never going to forgive or excuse him for that. The sun may rise on Jan 20, but our problems will not have been cured. We'll still have to fight for what is right & just.

But maybe we'll be able to focus on concrete policy fights instead of dealing with a narcissist trying to make a show out of our livelihood. The choices are crap. Showing support for my aforementioned allies is how I feel I can make the best of this situation.

And I'm looking forward to making progress in down-ballot races.
