Old border fence VS the new wall
Yuma Border Patrol Chief @USBPChiefYUM compares the older white fencing to the two new 30 foot walls:
The wall is see through, but if an agent moves to the right or the left to an acute enough angle, they are protected from would-be assaulters:
The foundation is concrete reinforced with rebar. Per @USBPChiefYUM it’s two feet thick and goes 10-12 feet down.

The concrete-filled posts also go all the way to the bottom of the foundation.

Motion detection systems alert border patrol if anyone attempts to cut through.
I asked Border Patrol Chief @USBPChief if the new wall works:

“There’s no other single investment that we can make that lasts this long and has an immediate return on investment.”
Over the last four years, well-paid pundits lectured us from their air-conditioned studios about how
“walls👏🏻don’t 👏🏻work👏🏻”

I tested the theory IRL: – bei USA/MEX Border Crossing, Los Algodones, Baja California
