1. When the Chibok girls went “missing,” the news spread like wildfire. Celebrities and influencers sold the news to us. No one stopped to ask them every single detail about the incident. We all simply believed it. Till date, I have never seen photos of ALL 276 girls but I

2. believed the kidnapping happened. I also haven’t seen the parents of all 276 girls in one place crying out. I have only seen less than 10, still I believed the kidnapping happened.

3. I remember when Patience Jonathan invited the parents of the missing girls, but I didn’t see all 215 in that room. No one told us why they all didn’t show up.

4. We were told that a group of Boko Haram members rounded up 215 school girls in one night and drove into the night, never to be seen again. The experts didn’t ask questions.

Today, some of those influencers and celebrities that sold us the questionable story of the Chibok

5. girls, are suddenly questioning DJ Switch’s account of what happened at Lekki Toll Gate on the 20th of October. Their curiosity popped up shortly after Governor Sanwo-Olu claimed that no one died that night.

6. As the days go by, more theories emerge. Some claim it never happened, some claim that they didn’t hear gunshots, and some who were never at the location also claim they never saw anyone die.

7. The Nigerian Military has also released a statement that the massacre never happened, that the images were photoshopped.

8. The biggest argument of them all is that, since they haven’t seen enough missing person’s posts, the massacre never happened.

Maybe it’s time we start thinking of the Chibok girls and Boko Haram, because this kidnapping story has swallowed billions of our budget,

9. Including international donations. Maybe we should check again to see if It those girls truly were kidnapped like the govt claimed. The Nigerian army has also been telling us that they’ve been “fighting” Boko Haram for years now, and every now and then,

10. they share images of killed Boko Haram soldiers but no one actually cares to verify if those people are really terrorists, or just a group of farmers rounded up and killed then guns and bullets placed on their feet. We need to start questioning everything as well.

12. Since some of you are arguing that Satelite images will reveal what happened on that night, can you experts also show us how Boko Haram rounded up 275 girls and drove off? Can anyone show us photos of Boko Haram members combating soldiers currently? #EndSARS
