i’m so mad people are purposely misunderstanding jo and saying lesbians are biphobic for “only talking about centering men when it comes to bi women” when that’s not true at all. i don’t like straight women or lesbians who do it either and don’t consider them part - (1/?)
of my community. i will criticize lesbians for contributing to the patriarchy’s ideals, however when non lesbians try to do this it’s lesbophobic because the way you do it is hostile and implies we are like men or you straight up call us incels. (2/?)
the way they were all so quick to talk about how “we don’t get pussy” like.... the transmisogyny and lesbophobia of it all. the way they think this is about sex in any way is disturbing and misogynistic. (3/?)
lesbians are fully capable of centering men. you do not have to be romantically or sexually involved with men to center them. i don’t consider them part of my community, i do not feel safe with them. i do not feel safe with women who pursue relationships with men. (4/?)
idk if this thread fully makes sense bc my brain fog is bad but i’m tired, there are no material consequences of lesbians not wanting to be around men. just because your feelings are hurt does not mean we are being irrational.
