The war on sex is the new war on drugs: “We’re not dying deaths of despair from porn in the same way residents of WV are of opioid overdoses. Drug death is more easily quantified. Pornography addiction, however, isn’t popularly considered a pathology.” https://americanmind.org/features/obscenity-blindness/porn-is-a-form-of-worship/
It’s so weird to me how trads assume porn use replaces sex despite the empirical evidence indicating it doesn’t. Plus it doesn’t make sense. Does watching an office sitcom replace work? For a few, sure. But not broadly. These theories rest on the assumption that sex is magic.
We take a break from reporting on the War on Porn to offer a dispatch from the Death of Irony. In a pub that rails against porn using demonstrably false assertions: “Liberationists and liberals bang the same drum no matter the circumstance, no matter the evidence.”

Apologies if I've missed your work that addresses this but I'm curious if you have theories about why the right is doing this now? I'm guessing it involves Section 230.
