There have been discussions between Russia & France as well. Putin has cleverly allowed the Turkish wolf to get it's paws stuck in the Libyan, Syrian & Armenian quagmire .
The last paw will soon be stuck in a Mediterranean conflict with Greece .

As I've stated earlier by decapitating the wolf the bear will be able to dominate the entire stretch from Iraq to Ukraine with it's ally Iran .
The Western Middle East , Caspian & Black Sea Hydrocarbons will all be it's to control.
Also Georgia will be sandwiched , it will fall .

The fall of Turkey with France & Russia acting as one will signal the end for @NATO as smaller ex Soviet states now within NATO will rethink their choices . Expect states like Moldova , Bulgaria etc to rethink their choices & put Moscow on an equal footing .

This is why Putin has ensured he will remain in control till 2036 .
The great game to resurrect Soviet military strength remains in progress.

Putin also knows he cannot hope to do the above without economic & military stability especially in Russia's far East .
Hence Moscow has now begin to play India & China against each other without overtly supporting either completely.
