I keep getting asked if there is any where to learn basic charting. If anyone is interested will put up a few links here to take a look at. Just hit the like button. Any other chartists feel free to join in and add some ideas.
This is a good tutorial for http://investing.com  its uses the tradingview platform so should be similar.
There are a couple of good sites where you can go through some lessons at your own pace. http://Babypips.com  and https://school.stockcharts.com/doku.php
The first thing you need to learn is how to plot trendlines you need to know which way you are trading long, short or trading a range sideways. There are loads of vidoes on youtube that you can look at.
I found this video useful just to give you an idea of how to move around http://investing.com
When I first started trading I was trading blind, didn't have a clue about entries and exits lost a lot of cash and realised that I had to change something. This video got me into charting I found it fascinating add it to your stocks see what you can see.
I have taught myself but have been very fortunate to have had help from other chartists many thanks @Donks77, @rosolanor, @KhudezaBegum, @Hendi213, @AntMwah @bringbackmols and @Borg74
What you need to do is make yourself a folder for all the info you will find. In this order learn, Trendlines, macd, rsi, stochastics, moving averages, bollingers, candlesticks, chart patterns, gaps, support and resistance, fibs, then you can go onto the more advanced patterns.
Learn about divergence
Finally make yourself a folder to store everything you find in it. Make a spreadsheet to put all the videos you watch in it. Charting isn't for everyone but I think it can cut out the noise, help with entries and exits and give you a better chance of being profitable. GLA
You can follow @Jarvy55.
