a theory on heejin and hyunjin's relationship in the loonaverse

as mentioned in the theory I have posted before, hyunjin used to be a part of odd eye circle however she left in order to find heejin - but what exactly drove her to do so? https://twitter.com/Iunarmares/status/1320108648090210305

first we need to establish that heejin created odd eye circle in vivid, filling her black and white world with red, yellow and then blue. meaning kim lip, hyunjin and jinsoul respectively who these colors belong to

however what if heejin and hyunjin have already known another from before heejin creates color? which would explain this scene in why not

if there is already a connection between them, it would explain as to why hyunjin might be drawn so strongly to heejin. but when heejin gains her powers and creates the loonaverse, the both of them lose their memories of their prior relationship

in around you, hyunjin is clearly looking for someone and sings about not having the courage to tell that person about how she feels. what if it is heejin she looks for?

it’s a longing she cannot properly express and maybe she is not even aware it’s heejin per se, but rather the urge to find a specific person

cats symbolize waiting for the right moment to act. when the cat heads appear, they symbolize that hyunjin has finally gathered enough courage to seek out heejin and no longer watch from afar

in I’ll be there they are finally reunited yet hyunjin still struggles to properly express her feelings. but it appears that heejin faintly remembers that they used to be connected, or that hyunjin has something to tell her as she invites to speak up through these lyrics

the first line they sing together is "i’ll be there, our hearts becoming one"

they are now together and combining their powers, which is seen in the carol in which they create haseul

note how the whole video uses only primary colors and green to highlight things. heejin and hyunjin walk through town, like they are looking for haseul

in my sunday, heejin and hyunjin's relationship grows into something deeper (again) and is described as “an indescribable attraction”, as if they cannot exist without the other and are drawn to each other no matter what. just like black cannot exist without white

they mostly wear black and white outfits during the video, like a callback to the relationship they had before color was added to the world

the first few lines in sonatine are these, which could mean that heejin and hyunjin are needed to create the loonaverse properly, or to balance it

but things begin to fall apart eventually when more pieces come into play; odd eye circle begin to go against heejin and interact with eden and hyunjin who has been with her from the start does her best to set things right (seeking out choerry and go won for example)

a bunch of the lyrics in I'll be there, my sunday and even the carol are about feelings between them, deja vus and remembering an earlier period of time. maybe hyunjin has realized she carries an even grander role which ties into this

red and blue already exist before kim lip and jinsoul are introduced, so maybe hyunjin held onto these colors before but they were then split between odd eye circle? choerry being a mirror image of hyunjin, whose color is purple is also interesting to think about in this regard

in hi high choerry and hyunjin switch places, so it might not be choerry who confronts olivia with odd eye circle, but maybe it is hyunjin instead? choerry is also shown wearing yellow, hyunjin's color

in her way, she tries to reach out to the others and set things right to get everything back on track again during hi high, so what and why not - with go won being a key person she keeps in touch with

hyunjin also does receive a bracelet from go won which she makes in the see saw up & line bit

in any case, I am positive that there has been a strong connection between heejin and hyunjin before, which is why hyunjin seeks out heejin and becomes some sort of guardian

maybe having been left behind at the end of why not and having lost something (symbolized through the shoe she misses), is a sacrifice hyunjin made in order to protect heejin

loonaverse 2jin are very fruity that's all!!! there is plenty of room to interpret romantic feelings, especially during I'll be there, my sunday and the carol. and even if they have lost their memories at first, the feelings they harbor for another remain
