Wren - The Scammer: A Thread

Firstly, I would like to start by saying thank you all so much for your support over the past couple of weeks, both when I had the head wobble and with the allegations that people are saying about me. You will never know how much it means to me - c

Secondly, it has come to my attention that I have been called a scammer numerous times by a few accounts on here, who I won't name because I'm not a turd. Me and @RubberDogMan worked on a fundraiser for @Stayathomemum6 a few days ago, something that we needed to do with - c

her anonymity in place due to dangerous circumstances. We were then accused of being scammers with this money, despite Nish posting screenshots of all transactions from his account and PayPal. So because of this we've been subjected to some pretty vile trolling. -c

Do not get me wrong, I am a tough wee cookie when I need to be. I can deal with a lot of what's thrown at me, whether it's insulting me, my life or even my partner (happened this week), but I have to admit, it does wear me down

Especially when these accusations are that - c

I am stealing money from people on here. I work my arse off, as often as I can, to help people who need it. I am very lucky to be where I am in life, I'm comfortable, I live a very good life now and I in no way need money.

I try to do all my fundraising as transparently as I -c

can, although there are times when people's identities must be hidden, as was the case last week. Despite this, I try to provide proof as often as I can.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I really do hope that none of you think that I'm taking money from you for myself - c

If anyone of you ever have any issues about my fundraising, any questions or worry it's a scam, I want you to know I am more than happy to talk to you about them. I hope you don't think I'm the person that they're making me out to be.

Whenever I can, and people can attest to this.

All I want to do is help people, it sounds weird but helping people is my own personal therapy.

I will continue to do what I can, with transparency, and I hope you know, if you need the help, all you have to do is ask. - c
