The Last Letter from Your Lover.

A thread:
It was written by Jojo Moyes. The writer of Me Before You best selling novel.

Time setting was in 1960s and 2003.

Located in London.
A story about 2 woman :

Ellie Haworth who lives in 2003 and Jennifer Stirling who lives during 1960s era.

It tells how this two women lifes intertwined.
What I love about this novel is:

Its broad topic about divorce, cheating and relationship.

How much things has changed in the past 40 years.

How some things still stays the way it is.
The love letters. I love the effort of the male main character on writing the letters to his lover.

Every word he described his feelings would make you have butterflies in your belly. Haha
What I learn from this;

Cheating is a choice. Staying in a toxic relationship is a choice too.

How Jennifer's husband mentally tortured her is wrong but that doesn't mean Jennifer cheating is okay.

Two wrongs don't make a right.
Falling in love with a married person is wrong. Being a mistress is wrong.

Think about the spouse's feelings.

No matter how unhappy a person in their marriage, cheating is the worst case scenario.
If a guy/girl sends mixed signals to you, walk away. Don't get involved with them because they don't even know about their feelings.

Don't waste your energy on someone who is confused about their own feelings.
Oh and there's a bit of their hot steamy scenes. Hahahahaha iykyk lah 😂😂
The plot twist:

It was litđŸ”„đŸ”„

At first you thought someone died. But actually, no one important died!! *Sorry spoiler alert!*

I thought no one gets a happy ending but I know everyone would be mad if it has a sad ending😂
Here's one of my most devastating moments when I read it!
This thread is coming to an end now. If you ever reach the end of this thread, thank you for reading my blabbering tonight. Hahahaha
