"if we're mutuals i already consider you a friend!" has really damaged a lot of peoples' perceptions on what a friendship actually is. maybe your standards are different but it's genuinely not healthy to consider every single mutual you have a friend then cry when they softblock

it's also not healthy to Seek Out a reason for why they softblocked or unfollowed you. this is social media. no one owes you an explanation for why they unfollowed or softblocked you. you need to move on

i tried my best not to come off as insensitive or harsh here but the gist of it is not everyone you're going to meet online is your friend or wants to be your friend. the "follows you" next to a person you follow's username on twitter isn't an indicator of friendship
