DAY 2: KOREAN STREAMING
How do Korean charts work?Korean charts update hourly based on the amount of listeners, streams and downloads an individual song receives. There are currently 5 main charts and each one has different criteria which makes it difficult to maintain charting across all of them.
What is a streaming pass? A streaming pass is like subscription to a music service. The pass will allow you to stream/download GOT7’s music on Korean streaming apps for up to 30 days. Prices for streaming passes may vary depending on which app you want to stream on.
BUYING STREAMING PASSES:Streaming passes can be bought through group orders. Usually an account will be provided to you with the streaming pass already activated.
Group orders will be linked at the end of this thread later when they become available.

MELON:Melon’s new chart system is based solely on unique listeners. We need as many Ahgases as possible streaming and downloading on Melon to increase GOT7’s chances of charting there.

GENIE: Genie charting is important for wins on music shows. The app is easy to use and the streaming passes are affordable. Let’s work on maintaining a high position on this chart!

BUGS:Bugs charting is no longer counted towards wins on Mcountdown. This chart has the least users out of all the main charts so it makes charting easier but still difficult to maintain.

SORIBADA:Soribada is no longer a main chart but charting there still counts in the criteria for some music shows. Soribada is the only chart that updates every 10 minutes.

FLO: The FLO chart shares the same charting system as Melon now. Songs are ranked based on cumulative streams from the past 24 hours.

VIBE:VIBE does not have a real-time chart (a chart that updates hourly). Songs can only debut on the VIBE chart after 24 hours.
