Didn& #39;t really sink in until now but, all those high-profile accounts that don& #39;t follow people simply don& #39;t have access to most of the information available. Even if the people themselves would understand, they& #39;ve cordoned themselves off, inadvertently insulated from information.
I& #39;m not sure if there& #39;s anything that can be done about it. Twitter doesn& #39;t allow you to just follow everyone back who follows you if it& #39;s a lot so they can never actually catch up. They& #39;ve missed all of the significant events if this is true. At least we know how it happened. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😔" title="Nachdenkliches Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Nachdenkliches Gesicht">
It& #39;s somewhat comforting in that I& #39;d been trying to figure out how so many people who really should understand what& #39;s happening weren& #39;t seeming to. I was starting to think it might be chemical interventions in prescriptions or something in the water. Seriously, I was mystified.
Explains a weird phenomenon I can only call a & #39;digital blank stare& #39; when making an off-hand comment about something and not seeming to evoke the expected response. They must& #39;ve thought I was nuts, lol. Maybe we can use them as test subjects for rapid deprogramming in real world.
