I will be sharing insights from a conversation with @tolulopeoyedero oyedero  who shared his thoughts with me in reaction to a valuable opinion by @toyosirise . See original tweet by @toyosirise in images below:

Insight 1: @tolulopeoyedero believes that Category B according to @toyosirise is the weak link. He further expounds on the concept of the weak link by saying that the #sorosoke generation thinks that everyone is one Twitter.

But the fraction of youths on twitter is quite low in comparison the amount of youths in Lagos and in Nigeria at large. He makes an example of his gateman being a youth who but if given #5,000 to cause mayhem , he will be motivated to.

Hence he believes that  
we need to strategise and find means to make them understand and believe that they deserve better and that they are being shortchanged.

Insight 2: The local and communities rural areas are the real voters.  Some communities in Nigeria do not know about #endsars .  So these are the questions we need to ask: how do we reach the rural communities and enlighten them?

How do we convince them and sell the story of the New Nigeria to them? Tolu believes that this should be our long term strategy against 2023.
Insight 3:Presently in Nigeria we have a total of 18 registered political parties with 16 of the parties as the opposition against APC+PDP

Oyedero thinks that If all the other parties collapse into one and become a united force, they would  be enough to beat APC and PDP come 2023.

He further highlights the fact that everyone wants to run for and focus their attention on the gubernatorial and presidential positions, he believes that we need to push more people to run for positions in their Federal constituencies and Senatorial districts.

Insight 4: In Oyedero's words "We need to strategise on how to collaborate with, educate and  ensure that people who are local bridges and links e.g the prominent market women, head of farmers associations e.t.c

that are in direct contact with the communities become councillors and assist in upholding the helm of affairs at the grassroot."
He cites an example of a federal house of representative distributing grinders bikes , and  bags of food

and how this is seen as poverty alleviation making the people in the rural areas believe that the leaders have done well, but we need to create a mental orientation that this doesn't solve any problem and the people in the rural areas deserve better.

Scribe's thoughts: People need to be aware that real change comes from appointing the right guys in the legislative, the National assembly and State House of Assembly(I'd publish something along these lines soon).

So I'd end this thread by saying that :

PLEASE if you know  you have a burning vision or passion  for mind transformation and reorientation, Nigeria needs you at this time. Also if your passion/mission/vision/call/message is for either of these two categories:

1. The ones on the streets, the "illiterate and deprived" e.t.c

2. The rural communities and their indigenous leaders

Knowledge is power for an educated adult and  I know how hard it is to change  mindsets and mentalities not to talk of the ones who have known this life all life long. However,  "because a thing seems difficult doesn't make it impossible" - Marcus Aurelius.
