I understand Republicans who are afraid of the rise of the far left. I absolutely am as well, I’ve written about it for years. But that’s a reason to vote for Biden, not against him....
... If Biden loses, the far left will say that moderates can’t win. Say what you will about Hillary, she was a moderate. Biden was the most moderate in the primary. If he loses, moderate, centrist liberalism will suffer a massive blow and the far left will be empowered...

He criticized defund the police from the start. He defeated Bernie and Warren by appealing to moderation. If that’s not the moderation you say you want, are you sure you aren’t just trying to convince yourself you’re a moderate? This is it, this is the thing you say you want!
Long story short, if you want to stop the far left, vote for the moderate who stopped them in the primaries, the moderate they demanded to drop out and said he had no chance because the far left is the winning vision. If he loses, that message will resonate more next time.
