fiction does affect reality, maybe in both ways you could think of about it and also the unthinkable ones as well.
let's just say it has a possibility to affect your personal view of your own reality, since you, probably shape your ways and perception from the fictional things you consume

or not, maybe you just want to enjoy something as is, who knows.
but we have to acknowledge that it does

maybe you probably can refer to that one time you start to fell in love with any fictional character at all. that felt pretty good, i'm sure.

it gives you the sense of comfort in the ways you initially thought wouldn't happen.
and with that way, and any other ways at all, those affect your thinking and eventually your reality.

but there's only so much limit you can set because there has to be a limit somewhere.

this thinking will either lead to good, or bad.
and now we head to obsession to those.

which is really a normal thing that happened to anyone at all at some point

(heck i'm obsessed with at least one thing at a certain time)
personally, it's fine to have it as long as it really does not come with an expense of harming others in the process

and by others i mean non-fictional things

and by that i mean human beings

and-

oh anyway yes, it's completely fine to have those.
and of course, goes without saying that it should not come with an expense of harming yourself in any form at all.

take care of yourself, folks.
for how much it affects your own reality at all, generally speaking just don't let whatever you're thinking, perceiving makes it okay and justifiable to harm anyone at all.

they're all non-fictional things, unlike the fictional things you're probably obsessed with and consuming
and again, by non-fictional I mean human being, like you and me, all of us.
It's really on from here, for you to differentiate in between those at all, it's two different things, but one does affect another, and the other way around too.

I'll have to say, seek a genuine help once you really couldn't differentiate between those, buddy. You do need it.
