It's known than Power creates dopamine hits similar to cocaine in a brain. But, demotion in a hierarchy, & loss of power, decreases dopamine levels, increases stress and reduces cognitive function. I think about this when looking at celebrities getting involved in politics.

When ur self-esteem, indeed ur self worth, is tied 2 the status that comes from power, keeping ur brain’s reward system, called the nucleus accumbens, high on it is a priority. Hence, Celebs feel threatened by anything which lessens their status.

It's known that Hollywood is extremely Left wing. Liberal. Progressive. Democrat voting. There is a visceral hatred for the Conservative, the family orientated society, the Christian (Catholics being the most despised). Anything which compromises the power of fame is vilified.

When I see all these celebs pontificating about who 2 vote 4 & spewing every woke cliché known 2 man, I see not spectacular wisdom on display, but rather inflated egos clinging 2 the life raft that 'higher' status affords them. They want the little ppl 2 remain little.
