i've had this thing since i was a kid where sometimes when i get really tired or stressed I get blind spots that spread across my eyes! a few years ago I got it checked out by a doctor and apparently it's just a migraine symptom that i get without the usual accompanying pain.

anyway, i had one this morning (not stress - just a tiredness thing, thankfully) and since I'd been talking to Blanca about it recently I thought i'd mock up an example of how these blind spots look to me while they're happening! so here it is. anyone else get anything like this?

slight caveat that they definitely don't look *exactly* like this - as it's a brain thing rather than an eye thing they don't really make sense in terms of normal colour & shape. but this gives a really good impression of how they feel to me when it starts happening.

i have a ""fun"" story about an experience i had getting this checked out by a doctor actually... i might do a little autobio comic about it. involves eyeballs, not for the squeamish!
