Twitter has become a no-go zone after a Kimmich PB win due to the stream of "I told you so" tweets. We get it - if you backed Kimmich, you won.

I'm a Kimmich holder and always have been, but those that doubted his PB potential as a MID had valid concerns about his G/A output.

The fact is this Bayern team average close to 3.5 goals/game. That helps. It's unlikely any of us predicted this level of dominance.

Those who doubted Kimmich haven't necessarily been proven wrong as people claim, as their assessments on him as an individual may still be reasonable.

However for as long as Bayern sweep all before them their players' PB potential is increased significantly.
