Everyone should try to write descriptions when you make Twitter posts, it helps to make the site more accessible to the visually impaired! It's pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it, and is very beneficial!
If anyone ever needs help with writing them feel free to ask me!
I have quite a bit of experience with descriptions since my brother's blind (he has some vision but not much) and am very happy to volunteer some time to help teach/help with anyone who needs it :)
Instructions for writing descriptions on mobile! (This is a remake of an older post but the mobile instructions didn't need changing so I'm directly linking the original ones here) https://twitter.com/pathoposadism/status/1272754632855482369?s=20
An extra recommendation I have is to install the chrome extension "Better Image Descriptions"! It lets you see the descriptions after having made the post, which makes it a lot easier if you post the same image multiple times since you don't have to rewrite the ID!
This extension is a bit buggy but the usage here is pretty simple, open the tweet, activate the plugin, then click the image you need to see the description for. You might have to zoom out in chrome since sometimes the ID gets cut off at the bottom of the screen.
