Anyways if they do lose and one fucking person tells me "okay who will be better" just point them to this goddamn quote. And somehow a lapse like this happens EVERY WORLD SERIES (see also: Rich Hill removal). It's LITERALLY HIS JOB TO COMMUNICATE WITH PLAYERS.

If you question the players for not being clutch for not showing up in the postseason and somehow the manager makes significantly worse decisions in the postseason than the regular season in a lot of seasons in a row at some point you have to question if he's "clutch" too

You can only tolerate so many of these lapses from your manager and somehow they always happen in the biggest spots. I get that the postseason is in a microscope but this is just unacceptable.

I'm not even fully placing this loss on Roberts, Kenley needs to get that 9th inning done. But Roberts definitely put the team in a worse spot in one of the biggest games of his coaching career. And it has happened so many times before. Can only take so much of those.
