According to Sanskrit Grammar?
That Mantra does NOT fit
into the rules of meter (8, 8, 8)
*Tat Sa vi tur Va reṇ yaṃ
= Only 7 syllables in 1st line.
Sanskrit Grammar needs 8 syllables for the Meter!
Fundamentally Wrong!
GAYATRI MANTRA itself is WRONG
According to Sanskrit Grammar?
That Mantra does NOT fit
into the rules of meter (8, 8, 8)
*Tat Sa vi tur Va reṇ yaṃ
= Only 7 syllables in 1st line.
Sanskrit Grammar needs 8 syllables for the Meter!
Fundamentally Wrong!

Tat Sa vi tur Va reṇ yaṃ= Only 7 syllables instead of 8.
Later Scholars slightly adjusted the Mantra to fit Meter rules! (8 8 8)
They changed 'varenyam' to 'vareṇiyaṃ' & brought in meter number 8
Tat Sa vi tur Va re ṇi yaṃ = 8 Syllables!
Tat Sa vi tur Va reṇ yaṃ= Only 7 syllables instead of 8.

(Om, Bhur Bhuvah Suvah) is NOT a part of Gayatri!
It is Pranava + 3 Vyahritis added later
Mantra only starts from Tat Savitur Vareṇyaṃ!
Actually Gayatri is recited to a DEAD GOD
Savitr is a Vedic God
He exists no more in Temples
Brahmins abandoned their own Gods:) For Power!
