I’ll never understand why someone says they’re going to do something, totally unprovoked, and then just never does it. Why bring it up? Why get my hopes up?

This is why I continue not to trust anyone. They only say sorry when they’re called out and I just don’t think I have the energy to deal with the disappointment anymore
