As I gave you a heads up on yesterday, things actually slow down on the first weekend. Tomorrow is likely to be the slowest day. Then it slowly builds itself back up during the week, and the last 3 days are super high. We'll see if it continues on the same pattern this year.
Our VBM firewall increased to 592,562. MAGA swore that we needed 625-650k and were never gonna get to 600,000. We might get there tomorrow. And above 650 looks within reach.

Dems have returned 65.2% of requests, GOP 61.7%.
Normally there is not much mail counting on Sundays (only a bit in Broward), but given that they will have dropbox mail from today, it seems likely that we will get some returns.

Mail still came in at a good clip today. I expect us to continue to grow the firewall there.
In person margins were juiced for the GOP a bit because their last 7 counties came online today, and they had some typically high first day turnout. That accounted for about 8k of the in person margin. Would have been about 25k (half yesterday), without them.
And to end this thread, a special shout out to @umichvoter99's parents today, who cast their first ever vote since they became US citizens. I always love stories like that (and love them double when they vote for Biden/Harris).
