I'm speaking on this as someone who's dyadic, but i'm really annoyed at people who keep saying that intersex isn't a part of the LGBTQIA+ community
A lot of intersex people have other queer identities, and their intersex identity already seperates them from cishetnormativity
Intersex people have been fighting along side the LGBTQIA+ community. They're a huge part of queer liberation, and when I see other queer people, especially trans people, try to push them away from the community it makes me mad
CW H slur
People calling intersex people a birth defect, saying things like "they're actually male/female" or "they're so rare that they don't count" is rhetoric that hurts all of us in our quest for liberation
You can't say that you're against Intersex surgeries, or support intersex people if you keep perpetuating this rhetoric
People also say that "intersex people have said that they're not LGBTQIA+" This isn't true, you've probably never spoken to an intersex person, or one that isn't a T3RF
If you're dyadic then you don't get a say in whether they're a part of the community or not
Biological sex is also a social construct. I'm not saying that your sex characteristics aren't real, I'm saying that the way we categorize ourselves as either male or female is socially constructed
Intersex people of course don't fit these definitions of male or female, and even dyadic people don't always fit into these categories

Some dyadic people have secondary sex characteristics that don't fit with their assigned sex such as broad shoulders for cis women
I can't emphasize how much this is rooted in white supremacy. If you're cis, white, and dyadic pls don't perpetuate the idea that bio sex isn't socially constructed, it hurts a lot of us
Also dyadic trans people are not the sex they were assigned at birth

Non binary people are biologically non binary because our gender is non binary therefore our body, and biological sex are non binary
This is something I wanted to point out to those trans people who keep saying "I wish I was intersex" because you want people to stop saying that you're "biologically male/female"

You are not biologically male/female
Saying that you wish you were intersex ignores the struggles that intersex people go through, and is not a good allyship

Being intersex is cool, but saying that you wish you were intersex is not cool
I would suggest to everyone that's dyadic that you also don't use intersex in any arguments to prove that gender isn't binary. There are other resources that prove that the gender binary is a product of colonialism
Listen to intersex people (except the T3RFy ones) about what is interphobic, and what you can do to be a better ally

I made this thread to link some resources that might help fight those perpetuating interphobia either intentionally or unintentionally
Also if any intersex people see anything that's wrong in this thread, pls tell me

(Except for intersex T3RFs)
